Thanked: 45Tonight's, Wessex Golden Flake from '05. Was in a shop a while back, and they had "old" tobacco for sale. Seems they bought a lot at an estate sale. I was able to purchase several various tins with a bit of age on them.

Thanked: 1160Right now I'm all over the board but either maybe a straight stem or something semi Nosey. Just not sure and more thinking out loud. Seems I get on P&C and find something that I really like only to find it's over $150.00...... Just as an example.Peterson has a collector two pipe set that I like.Had I would have been on the ball I would have had more options but since I waited, it's left to a finish that I'm not fully crazy about but still nice. It's a $300.00 set which comes out to $150.00 per pipe which for a Pete is reasonable but........I can't bring myself to spend $300 on pipes for a finish I'm not sold on y'know. Too much eye candy and not enough dough. But I may find something. I'm looking at 50-100 dollar range if I buy anything at all. Just not in a hurry to acquire at this time and time is what I want to take on this. Man I do hope your back get's better soon Phil. I have been spasming all day with my sciatica . Sore back anything just blows period .

Well when the right pipe rears it's head, you will know...
Thanks for the wishes on the back...
I fell out of/off of a semi trailer in November, reported it the same day... I kept quiet about it until February when I couldn't deal with it anymore...
MRI was done and I have a herniated disk...
Two months of Physical Therapy is done with no relief, so now I'm waiting for an epidural...
I've been working for the past 5.5 months and now all of a sudden the company has decided that they can't accommodate my restrictions...Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

If you want to go real Nosey - I bought a Savinelli Lolita 01 for my quick commute to and from work. The thing is tiny! As in 4.5" long, with a bowl that's only 1.14" deep and .7" wide. But I have come to love the thing. It just smokes like a champ!
I loved it so well, that I just got the 04 model to go with it! The only significant difference between the two is that the 04 has a 1.46" deep bowl for those long smokes. I have yet to smoke it but at $68.80USD, it's worth the risk lol!
Savinelli Lolita | Rustic Briar 04 | Tobacco Pipe
I can't say enough good about my Savinellis (I have 3 now lol).
Just throwing that out there .David

Thanked: 1160Yep that is a nice one.....only thing is it's filtered. Not a fan of filters. I have two pipes that are filtered but one came with an adapter to make the stem normal and the other I had to buy the hard to find adapter.
