Thanked: 983That's a great photo Tom! Nice textures!
I went out to get something different to stuff in my pipe yesterday, and when I went into the shop to ask what they might have that was just that, I was told it's getting harder and harder for the tobacconists to afford to carry much variety of stock, especially for the pipe. Seems pipes are falling out of favour more and more around my parts, and the sale of tobacco in general is dropping off due to the scare mongering campaign enforced by the government with the new packaging laws for tobacco.
A sad country I live in these days. Hardly a fair dinkum, true blue Aussie left in the place and certainly none in the government. My old pipe smoking Grandfather would be turning over in his grave if he were alive today .

After a few days of relatively cold temperatures, we have an absolute Chamber of Commerce day today 71 degrees (22 for those of you on the Celsius side of the world), sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Like my Dad used to say, "It's so nice out, I think I'll leave it out."The older I get, the better I was

That Larsen Mellow & Tasty is a blend of Black Cavendish, Virginia, and a touch of Burley. I have been unable to find it online, but my tobacconist showed me a booklet that says it is aromatized with honey and cream. It is light in the mouth and leaves a good aroma in the room. Just let it dry some days after you open it, since it is almost wet when new...
Larsen tobaccos are becoming my favourite.
