Nording Freehand #2
Back around Page 620 Nording Freehands were brought up & Post 6195 I think Steph wanted to see the Nording Freehands...
Well on Saturday I received a text that said to make sure I check the mail... So when I got home from work, what did I find? A Nording Freehand #2 that had been gifted to me from a great friend in Alabama...
So the maiden voyage was a little: Brigadier Black Bull Run pipe tobacco is a blend of black and gold. Silky smooth with just a hint of Vanilla for your enjoyment as well as those around you. Born of some of the most sought after vanilla pipe tobacco in the world this is a must try if you’re a vanilla fan.
And for a cob smoke: Old Toby's Stash is a custom, premium blend that encompasses eight different leaves. From Dark Black Cavendish, Burley, Golden Virginias and Golden Cavendish, this blend is a true aromatic treat. The flavor is rich with Blueberries, Raspberries, Vanilla and Caramel. The tobacco is full of flavor and the room aroma is like no other. After smoking, this will leave the room smelling like fresh muffins.
Both were wonderful smokes...Last edited by NoseWarmer; 03-11-2013 at 08:59 PM.

Thanked: 3This seems like the best place to ask this question. I have a collection of churchwardens and love them but recently got an extra long one from the Texas Ren Fest. I love it, but the pipe is all one piece. Normal long churchwarden pipe cleaners don't reach to the bowl, probably only about 2/3rds of the way in the stem actually. Any idea how to clean it? The person who sold it to me said use a guitar string, and while that works for clearing out blockages, it doesn't really help with absorbing anything.
And to stay on topic, I just finished a nice bowl of Detective's Blend in my Falcon dublin style. Probably my favorite tobacco that I can get locally.

Thanked: 983Can you come at the stem from both directions i.e through the bowl, or only one?
Another thought would be to firmly twist on a second regular pipe cleaner to the churchy one.
Are you positive it doesn't come apart?
What is it made of? Clay? Put that in the coals/fire for cleaning.
