I am my coffee maker now. Just me and my stainless steel saucepan....just like my razor and I are one . Low tech is pretty cool that way. And I'll die before I ever vape.....it's pipe or nuttin !! Cept....maybe cigar

I just smoked my first bowl in about 25 years. I ordered, and received today, a Baraccini pipe and couple of tobaccos. I just finished a bowl of Borkum Riff (one of my old favorites) with a dram of Cardhu 12 yr old which I also haven't had in years. I'm happy!

Now this is too much of a coincidence. About 25 years ago was my last bowl. I also smoked Borkum Riff commercially, and a few custom blends from a tobacco shop near me at the time. But I really did like Borkum Riff back then.

What did you think of Borkum Riff now? Was it as good as it used to be 25 years ago? Curious about your thoughts here. I may grab a pouch for nostalgia's sake this week. My pipe collection is small (six or eight) but they are all fine pipes so I have no complaints.

I'll snap a pic later this week of my small collection.

Great pipe, and I too love the mug. Nice photo. I tend to drink my coffee black after noon and in the evening. In the mornings I do more of a Latte or Cappuccino. I like frothed milk with espresso (Moka pot) brew in the mornings. That's the European style. Milk with coffee before noon, never afternoon. Black only after 12:00 PM.

Any of you gents try a Moka pot? I truly love them.



I like the Osaka line from Japan, but any Moka Pot will do. Purists will get an Italian model. Brews wonderful coffee.

I just smoked another bowl this afternoon. It's as nice as I remembered it. I think it's a good everyday smoke.
