I just ordered a second tin of lakeland dark. I think I've found my dark flake substitute, although I'm going to England in a week and will be bringing back my maximum quota of pipe tobacco. It's only 250g tax free, then 250 more taxed at 290kr per 100g. I'm thinking to pick up some black pigtail though, since it doubles as chewing tobacco and chewing tobacco is only 120kr in tax per 100g.

Ran out of Dunhill Night cap, any suggestions for something similar? Tried a couple of new tins but they seem to be missing something. The original stock I had was from 2012-13.

He's alive and well Ness. He has chosen to veer away from all social media these days but he does say kind words towards the SRP crew.

    Got a couple new Petersons.
The copper jacket is their Christmas pipe and the other a Standard System.

That razor in the background has very long scales as it should. The scales are from the iconic Texas Longhorn. This blade goes to Randydance.

    Thank you.

Don't buy one. The workmanship was crap. I'm still getting the red dye out of the barrel. The stem is now clean but the red got on my lips the first smoke. Plus, there was a burr in the stem which caused the pipe cleaner to peel off cloth and clog the hole. Used 1/16 silver steel rods to clean the burr out of the stem.

    It is performing well now.

Only one smoke on the Standard System. For $104 it is a good pipe.

Your kidding ? That's not normal for Peterson ?? Wow,.......guess even the Gods can make mistakes. I have four Pete's and loev'em but I suppose it can happen to the best. Do you think the dealer could compensate or have you thought about maybe contacting Peterson for recompense ?
