Just got a box from P&C today. 3 tins of Lane tobacco, a fistful of pipe cleaners, a Czech tool, zip up pipe bag and a nice basket briar. All for $19.99.

The Lane is 1 tin of "hazelnut", 1 tin of "Black Raspberry" and 1 tin of "MV-1000". All this tobacco may be crap, but I would've paid $19.99 for the pipe by itself so I'm good with it.

Well.....since I got rid of so many old pipes, it's time for some new blood. Just got this today from smokingpipes, com . A Peterson Dublin Edition black sandblasted bent bulldog/Rhodesian 80s. Good pipe and my first diamond shank. This is my third Peterson and I'm eyeballing a fourth cause they're just such crappy pipes ha ha. Of course while I still can,I broke it in with McClellend 2000 fragrant matured cake (sigh).

I have a problem I could do with some help with. I'm a big fan of Gawith Hogagrth's dark flake, but it isn't available in Norway where I live. I usually visit England in the summer and pick up a pile of it from a wonderful little 150 year old tobacconist shop, but this year I won't be able to go. Does anyone know of something that might work as a dark flake substitute? I used to get peterson's irish flake from time to time, but that doesn't seem to be available here anymore.

Bought a new pipe for the first time in over 5 years.
A very large Peterson Dublin Edition. It is breaking in quite nicely.
