Sailor... On the lower end MM's sometimes the hole in the shank is off center... This one happened to be one of those... I had to compensate for that, but it turned out well for $3.30 and 10 minutes of work...

Oh, the thing I failed to mention was... I had one of these run across my feet when I turned on the shop light...

    Nose,

That looks like the perfect jacket pocket pipe. I will make one. Is that the stock stem or, a Walker "Forever"?

BTW, I hate to startle a opossum. I must have some sort of primal aversion. Your shot defines why.

That dude looks angry. Get yourself a cat or two to keep the rats away from the neighborhood. Cats are ok against little fellows like mice, vole, polecat and shrew as well.
But if you have bigger unwanted guests living near like fox or raccoons then dogs are the only choice to keep them from coming too friendly.

Smoking a Boswells shot pipe and Orlick Golden sliced while shaping a few homemades.Going to keep them chunky
and do some heavy chisel rustication on them.

They can be bought from this mob Australasian Knife Collectors (AKC) for $50 Aus plus postage. The as new edge needed improving on mine, but the knife is made with the idea that everyone will customise it to suit themselves anyway. And for $50 bucks, I don't expect perfection...Oh yes, I should mention it is an Aussie design, but it is made (to a set standard) in Pakistan.

I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to cut out an adjustable harness to suit that sheath. I've already got ideas for improvements on the sheath design, but I also have other things to get on with now, so it will have to wait. This was just a job for myself that I've had on the backburner for a long time.

I am really going to have to order a pipe kit. I love your work with your kit pipes mate. Inspiring. I look forward to seeing how these next two come out.

Went shooting today for the first time in a while, it was very relaxing popping off a few rounds and smoking my pipe.

No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

OK... It looks like a rat to some... While others it is know as a: Virginia opossum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't think you have to worry about them in your neck of the woods Sailor...

I have my fair share of Raccoons here too... They are better hiders than the Opossum... Let me know if you want one... I'll next day it to you
