Nice! Clearly you're continuing your Survey of Codger Burlies. I've not burned any Carter Hall for ages. I remember it left the smell of fresh baked dinner rolls in my mustache. I'm told OJK is absolute magic in a cob. Have you given it a try yet?

I've begun training camp for graduate school (got my books and began reading.) School starts officially 14 January. It's beginning to look like this won't be easy; not light reading by a long shot and a ton of writing. Clearly, I'll corner the market for pipe tobacco, dip and coffee in the next year and a half or so. When it's all said and done I'm convinced I'll be either very smart or completely insane. Either of which will uniquely qualify me to teach English at the University level.
    Sailor and spacemonkeyjon like this.

    First Pipe today:
    Les Wood

Yesterday was an important day. The Consul General of the United States visited my hometown. He got an invitation by the Lord Mayor to his New Year's reception. It was my privilege to shadow the Consul General.
Mark J. Powell visited also the St. George Church
    Here you get some impressions
