Snot like he gave the fella anything too terribly expensive what couldn't be easily replaced. He got a nice cigar and payed forward thus ensuring another brother to the pipe smoking cause. I say good on'im.

I consider it a PIF with a bit of a bonus. If I managed to convince him to try the pipe and set him on the right path I consider it more than worth it.

That's great! Don't forget, you also said you took the time and shared information/knowledge as well. You just can't put a price on that. Unless, you're a lawyer, then it's by the minute. BTW, what model Glock is that?

Please forgive me. I was looking at the slide and not noticing the clip. I should have also noticed the slightly angled groves on the slide. I'm now embarrassed and will voluntarily banish myself from this thread for a period of time for having made such an egregious mistake. Please accept my heartfelt apology.

Dont feel so bad its an easy mistake. I grew up on glock and then picked up the Walther this year and love it. It's definitely my favorite pistol I own (not saying much) and possibly my favorite shooter period.

It wasn't that bad for me. Just a case of too much time on my hands. It did inspire me to take a look at the Glock 27 Gen4. I'm looking for something for CCW, I have a G22 and a Sig P6, but that 27 looks sweet!

Check out the Walther. I found I couldnt carry a glock because the combination of bulk and shape. Operation is the same but its thinner and IMHO better ergonomics.
