Thanked: 983I woud imagine that the bowl would get a bit hot to touch on a porcelain(sp?) pipe. However, I've never tried one myself.

Thanked: 1185C & D Old Joe Krantz in a Nording Egg.
I'm muddling my way through Plato and Aristotle for school trying to get a paper done by tomorrow night. I'm becoming intimately in tune with the expression "it's all Greek to me". Even in English this is pretty tough stuff to through a rope around. Without the soothing effects of vitamin N I'm sure I would have thrown that book on top of the roof by now.
Last night I pulled the trigger on another pound of OJK and a can of McBarren Plum Cake. I can already tell that tobacco, coffee, a stubborn constitution and some mild, but focused insanity is going to be all that gets me through grad schoolLast edited by 1OldGI; 01-12-2013 at 09:43 PM.

Oldgi, bet your wishing you wild have taken some of these courses when you were still in the AF, your frustration sounds very similar to the frustration i had taking poly sci 101 back when i was in the nav, now i wish i would have taken more classes.

Thanked: 1185Finished my undergrad degree when I was in the AF (English/Sociology). Hopefully, I still have it in me to work and go to school. The first semester will no doubt be tough but once I get used to it, I'm sure I'll be OK. For now though, it's a lot like sitting on the couch for 7 years then trying to get up and run a five minute mile.

Folding to peer pressure, I received a Jirsa in the post the other day. What a great pipe!! I've been running Frog ATP through it and it's been doing me quite well. I'm now a member of the Jirsa fan club!
