I have a question for you all. When you get a new pipe do you give it a cleaning before you first use it? I have a new Peterson Billiard on the way. Thank you.

Maybe wipe it off with my t-shirt...

I need a hand with some tobacco recommendations from you fellas. As many of you know, I am a barber, so I am looking for a tobacco with a nice room note that I can smoke at work-- the catch is I don't like heavily cased tobaccos. So far, I've had the best response to Peterson Nutty Cut; most people enjoy the smell, and the casing is subtle enough that I still enjoyed smoking it. Anybody know of any others that I might give a try? Thanks.

You might try orlick or erinmore. They both get a thumbs up from the mrs and i don't think orlick is even a aromatic.

Last nights was the last of my Alsbo cherry, smoked it on a nice walk in the drizzly rain with my good lady wife. Will definitely be getting more though.

MacBaren Scottish Blend. Nice tobacco flavor not aromatic and good for all day any day.
Also is easy on the tongue.

Just light'er up and puff and be content. I don't know about wiping it off with Nosewarmers T-shirt though, where's that thing been ?

I like Captain Black Royal smells good and easy on the tongue but its a bit wet. I do not think its cased and its a mix of black and gold cavendish.
