Tough thing to do, the closest thing is probably Haunted Bookshop, it's kind of similar but OJK is totally better. OJK is 50% burley, 25% Virginia and 25% Perique. It's plenty full bodied and OJK would probably compare to an expensive cigar a little closer than it would another pipe tobacco. There's plenty of vitamin N, the burley imparts kind of a cigary taste while the Virginia and Perique kind of counter with a leathery/spicy sort of effect. It really is the best pipe tobacco I've encountered in 35 years of pipe smoking. I'd probably recommend buying only a couple ounces to start with just to see if you like it. Some people find it a bit harsh but if you like Irish Flake, you should like OJK.

Duke Ellington on iTunes and a pipe full of tobacco to help me through an afternoon and evening of research. I've worked in much worse situations and thank God for where I am and what I'm doing right now. This all seemed like an impossible dream to me when I was a young man working the stone saw at below freezing temperatures in the stone quarry.

I'm also about a week away from my next pipe and tobacco purchase. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm probably going to try some Prince Albert, MacBaren and a third that has escaped my memory at the moment. As for the pipe, I change my mind every day. My wife likes the Savinelli canadian (and so do I), but then I think of how much I love my full bent pipe. I definitely clench my pipes and keep thinking of how nice the full bent pipes clench.

I thought now that I've put a few bowls through it I would show you gents my Dr. Plum Quintex. Quite enjoying it. Today I smoked some menthol shag. Not really a favourite and doubt I'll buy it again, not by any means unpleasant so I'll finish it. I have been favouring lightly flavoured shag tobacco lately for some reason.

Been busy as can be between 72 hour work weeks, taking care of the family and planning a wedding. Fortunately I still find time for a bowl most days. Been on a big ojk

Pipe at work, somewhere at the coasts of the Baltic Sea. Old Dublin from Peterson.
