Just an afternoon pipe while walking the dogs at the neighborhood. Chonowitz T17 from Karl Erik pipe.
Damn it is -32 C (-25.6 F) outside. I'd call it too refreshing/coldest day of the year this far.

Alright guys, I like this thread as much as any of you, hell I remember when it was just in single digits page wise, but what I enjoy most is when you all put some "life" into your pictures. I plead guilty myself of taking most of my POTD pics just sitting on a shelf or in my cabinet. Our own Tomi here is a perfect example of the type of shots I really enjoy seeing, thank you for that my friend.

Not complaining in any way guys, just sharing a thought I had rattling around today . I know it's not always easy to grab shots like that but I just really enjoy them. Carry on....

Those Falcon pipes look suspicious to me but of what i remember, they used to be pretty popular back then.
However, they still sell Falcons at least in England. The bowls and stems come in various shapes.
I always thought that the stem gets damn hot.

I've been doing some reading and they claim that it is a cool smoke because of the fins on the stem/shank and the method of the how the smoke was moved... I guess I'll see...

My pretty lady told me she had a surprise for me the other day and that I'd laugh..she brought home this little MM Cob since I don't have one of "these" yet she said. I must say I rather enjoy it, great little pipe to enjoy in the truck on the way to work
