    You wouldn't regret it I don't reckon

Copped a nasty Ben Wade/Preben Holm freehand at an antique store in Anacortes, WA, yesterday. It had chicken feathers and cobwebs in the bowl. It needs some cleaning and, tonight, a bowl of Escudo.

Well, time to open another tin. Dug deep into the cellar and pulled out a few tins that I've never had the opportunity to try. I hummed and hawed for days, settling on Peterson Irish Oak. Rumour has it the room note is atrocious and should be left for outside. That's out, as it's time for indoor winter smoking and the wife can only take so much. Astleys No.88 was next on the list, but I was not in any mood for a full cavendish blend. A nice Wessex virginia was the final decision...I love the virginia's in the gold brick so we'll give the Campaign a try...

I have an old craggy Dunhill from 1973 I'll test it out in! Happy smoking this evening, gentlemen...

Try 100% beeswax or carnauba. They will give all the shine you need.

I was doggie huggin' today (and yesterday). Visited a mate and he's got a new pup, so had to have a play. And yesterday I played Doctor Mick on the next door neighbours dog who had just got into a fight with one of the other dogs. Lots of blood, but no serious damage. Neighbour was too stressed and freaking out over the blood to be of much use to the poor thing...As for pipes...Sorry to say I just smoked a few noxious cigarettes today over at said mates place. I'll be back on the pipe now though
