    I understand, what I ment was not the pipe it self but the maker, I don't want to buy a pipe the looks good but is a poor make. I am interested on your thoughts re the pipe brand rather than the looks.

    Ascorti are a good pipe, they are sold by several high end retailers...

    I personally look for pipes made from small name carvers... If there product is good and I purchase and can give a good review, hopefully they can make a name for themselves in the future...

    I have seen that there are a few carvers that I have bought from in the past that have started to increase there sales and prices...
