Had a little Dunhill Nightcap in the Peterson Christmas pipe awaiting the last few amber and red leaves to fall. Soon the north winds will descend upon us all.

Not really a pipe of the day but thought I'd share some artwork that hangs above my chair. Pipe design drawings by John Crosby.

And the last piece of artwork above my chair, it's actually a ceramic tile.

Came back from the dentist today...rest of the day off. Decompressed with a church warden full of Pilots mix and some Tawney Porto.

Nice day but chilly night warming up with some C&D Exclusive in the Peterson Killarney and Manhattan cocktail made with Bulleit Bourbon. Was looking at some estate pipes earlier online came across a strange looking thing called a Falcon. Kind of interesting that it had interchangeable bowls fitted on a metal stem. Anybody ever use one of these? Curious if they are any good or not.

I have a couple Falcons but have not smoked them in many years. An inexpensive pipe that actually has a pretty good following. Mine are in a box in the basement, I'll have to dig one out and fire it up, actually been thinking about them lately, glad you brought them up.

How are you liking the C & D Exclusive?

Just got home from work and am having a big mug of milk but a Manhattan sounds very good.
