    Default Sunday Night Smoke

Nording Freehand | Dan's "The Malthouse"

Based on what I have read, tobacco taste is somewhat subjective. I read mixed reviews on this blend, but I really enjoyed "The Malthouse Founder's Reserve." This was my most enjoyable smoke so far. The malt came through with this one, but is not overpowering. This is one I could enjoy everyday. So far, the three "Dan's Tobacco" blends I have are my favorite.

Edit: I have also found that I enjoy my smoke much more when accompanied by some bourbon. It just brings out the sweetness in the smoke. Just an opinion of course.

    Default Weekend buys

I added to the collection this weekend off of ebay. I got an Aldo Velani poker, a Savinelli Professor straight grain, and a ST Dupont that is from the Aaron Spelling estate. Here is the Aldo and Dupont--pictures of the best one in the Savinelli when it gets here:-)

    Default Great tobacco

Here's a C&D tobacco that is wonderful:This has a base of unsweetened black Cavendish with Turkish, Latakia and Perique, enclosed in a light rum punch flavor.

    Default Pipe tobacco reviews

Here is a great website that has reviews on about every pipe tobacco made. The reviews aren't slanted but very honest. It's worth a look to see how your tobacco is rated.

Glad you like it. That is a bunch of views for sure!

I got the seller to send the pics of the Savinelli that I have on the way. Wonderful straightgrain!
