    Thanks.
'Pipe rack' is just a typical compass rose used by watch/observer personnel at ships.
I wish there would be a way to send some snow there as we have more than enough and the winter is just started.

Hey send some of that snow my way too! It snows once every 7 or so years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I believe it has snowed there a grand total of 3 times in my lifetime (I'm 20). The snow doesn't stick longer than the afternooon as well. It snows about once a year where I am in college (north MS), so it's a coin flip as to whether or not it snows while I am at home or at college.

Anywho, great pics sailor! What do you do on the ship if you don't mind my asking?

Well snow is ok but little less would be better as the cold snow time lasts about 4-5 months here and the so called 'warm' summer is only about 1-3 months.
About my service i'm just a NCO at the ships engine team, so called 'engine hugger' . I've graduated both as engine technician and watch keeping engineer.

i have a buddy that lives in mississippi and he loves snow, like you said it hardly ever snows down there so he made a snow machine. he just needs the temps to get around freezing and he can make snow. i have a vid of it some where.
