Saw the latest iteration of ELO with Jools Holland last night. IMO, not as good as the original Electric Light Orchestra, or the one featured here, but Jeff Lynn continues to get away with calling whomever he can assemble at the time, ELO.
Anyway, a pretty good performance of a good tune ..

This makes me very proud of my heritage of; English, Irish, Welsh and Scot.
It's so sad that his battle with Alzheimer has left him a mere shell of what he once was.

For obvious reasons, at this side of the pond several European national anthems and this song has been on the air lately. Many times a day.
Personally i'm not so much about this song but i can live with it. Great games going on for a month.
