Here's a little Rod Stewart at the Royal Albert Hall. The 'High Quality' version that I 'used to watch' is for some reason now 'Banned in my country'. What a bunch of BS!

Anyway I hope all will enjoy it.

12+ years ago I was sitting at the store's breakroom having lunch. Apparently this young kid had 'Discovered Eric Clapton' and he was going on and on about how cool Crossroads and Sunshine of Your Love were and that he'd recorded them in '74.

I told him, "Son, your off by about 4 or 5 years he did those back in '67 and '68'. He got a bit cranky and said; "How do you know man"? I said; "Cuz I'm old, I was there". He said; "How old are you man"? I said; "I'm 50".

He blurted out "GOD you ARE Old, your older than my parents". I just said; "Told you I was old" and went back to eating my lunch.

Now how about a little Clapton

Unfortunately, I graduated high school in 1967!

BTW... How many holes does it take to fill The Albert Hall?

'67 was a very good year!!!

I don't know how many 'holes' it takes to fill the Royal Albert Hall but one site says that the seating capacity is:

The maximum seating capacity of the Royal Albert Hall in London, England is 5,272. For most event the seating capacity is listed at 4,951.

Here's a virtual tour of that Magnificent Hall.

"Booker T." by the Velvets. More '67 stuff. Saw the VU exhibit in Paris a couple of weeks back and it was awesome. Hope it turns up in a venue near you...
