I have a couple of straight pipes by Peterson, and I love to smoke Dunhill tobaccos. They're back in the UK which is brilliant news - just bought some new Early Morning Pipe and London Mixture. Also becoming a massive fan of Rattray's Red Raparee.

I'm certainly better with pipes than I am with a straight razor!

I got mine from a tobacconist in Bath for £10.50 a tin. I think they might even be doing Nightcap again. Anyway - the quality of the new stuff is just as good as they were doing before it went away - I hope for your sake that they distribute to the US soon.

I'm not sure they are doing the Elizabethan again - although agreed it's a stunner. I think I saw Flake, 965, Nightcap, EMP, Deluxe navy rolls and London Mixture - London and Nightcap disappeared here long before the rest went away so I suppose there's hope for the Elizabethan Mixture too.

If you like some of the more oriental/latakia blends - I seriously suggest having a go with the Rattray's Red Raparee - it's the most rounded and smooth of this breed of tobacco and very high quality - as good if not better than the Dunhills I reckon.

Thanks Nosewarmer.Tobacco fave:Nothing in particular yet.Got a mix of Blackwatch and Bowl O Cherries from Edwards tobacco in Denver.Gonna try some heftier english stuff soon and see how it goes?

But don't worry Nosewarmer...A homemade pipe from a new friend will never play second fiddle.Just so ya know.It was after all, tradition amongst Native americans to do a pipe ceremony and the pipe was revered.
