Thread: How do you like your eggs?

Hmmmm nobody else for over easy on top of a big pile of corned beef hash (not the canned stuff the talk stuff)? Thats my all time fave. But while deployed its hard boiled or plain over easy, those are the only real one scrambled or omletts are powder. I will try them any way though, never had deviled or benidect.

Favorite Sunday brunch is eggs benedict with champagne. Standard eggs benedict, canadian bacon, english muffins with hollandaise sauce and 4 minute poached eggs. Wife loves over easy on hash!

Lets see.. Since I can eat eggs all the time.. here are a couple of ways I like them.

Over Easy over hashbrowns with bacon and a little sour cream and salsa/hot sauce
Over Easy over corned beef hash
Scrambled
Poached for Eggs Benedict
Fried for sandwiches

I will eat an egg almost any way.

Nasty flashback of MRE Corned Beef Trash (thanks Brother!) While the real stuff with a couple over easy eggs on top is indeed the breakfast of kings, the MRE version really gives it a bad name. Even with the required Tabasco sauce, it's barely edible. Ah those were the days, I must be derranged but I'd cut off body parts to get up tomorrow, jump into some BDUs and deploy to somewhere that sucks.

tough call... I like the "eggie in a basket" from v for vendetta... cut a circle out of a piece of bread, butter it, start toasting it in the pan, then crack an egg in there.

I also like cajun scrambled (lots of hot pepper) and omelets with cheese, ham and green pepper.

After i cook the bacon,i leave the 1/2 inch of hot bacon grease in the pan,and crack 2 farm fresh eggs(we have chickens) into the hot bacon grease. Then i spoon hot bacon grease on top of the yolks until they turn white,remove with spatula. I blame my dad for this one,but it is so good. Only have them like this about 3 times a year.Sometimes you just need some grease!!!

Oh yea...I grew up eating my eggs this way....Awesome.
