There are some slight differences in graphics but the two in general are much the same.. Although it will be one of those topics that will be disputed for ever lol
Edit RE PS3: Also the ps3 doesn't have hardware scaling so most of the games are only 720p or 1080i (due to its GPU or lack of GPU power) Because the Xbox has hardware scaling that can make a slight quality difference picture quality on a high end tvLast edited by Brighty83; 09-13-2011 at 08:35 AM.

Thanked: 46Well if they want me to sheel out for a PS4 (which I'm likely to do EVENTUALLY if only to continue the collection) they'll have to make it substantially better than the 3.

Yeah I'm a PC gamer too, will post rig pics at some point
That's a sweet setup you got Brightly btw, only slightly jealous lol
I play most things really, enjoy the half-life series, metro 2033 is cool, mass effect is enjoyable, just playing through dragon age for the first time now, game is quite good but disappointed with the graphics a little, crysis 2 has sweet graphics if you have a PC powerful enough, and thankfully I do, but I found the game a little disappointing as a sequel.

Thanks, I used to be a huge half life fan, i actually didn't finish HL2.. i formatted my pc and lost my save point close to the and and didn't bother re playing lol
If your playing metro 2033 your rig cant be too bad, that's fairly hefty even on my system! Loved crysis 2 as well! finished that the week i got it!
My main board actually lets my pc down a lot, it only runs the second card at 4x not 16x, i was on a budget when i put it together and was going to replace the main board in the future, that didn't happen lol
I just flicked futurmark 2011 on to see what she gets, something i haven done since 3dmark 99-03 lol and the last card i would have run with it would have been an ATI 9800XT that cost me a mortgage. The results were a little disappointing considering how high some of the results are! The highest was about 30,000! Maybe its time for that main board upgrade.... I Don't know how anyone could afford a system to get a benchmark that high!

Born and bread!
I had the lucky fortune of having a mother who was the head secretary to the lead engineers at atari back in the day. So as far back as I can remember video games were a focus in the household. I have very fond memorys of almost daily visits to the atari headquarters. My aunt would pick me up after school and drive me to moms work as she frequently would be working well into the early evening so what better babysitter than to let me loose in the "breakroom" which pretty much amounted to a giant arcade room that would put any family fun center to shame. Best thing no quarters required just push the player button and go!
Given the free roam of the entire facility I came to be friends with many of the engineers, often times being included in testing of new games and platforms. Coolest thing was when they built me a custom 5200 consule complete with anodized top plate to take home, play and give my feedback on the playabilty of the console. Sadly to say it became a huge flop for atari which in turn lead to the eventual downfall of the company and ultimatly resulted in my mom loosing job.
Anywho I'm still a huge fan of games today. Curently own a 360 with kinect. Main games I play are shooters like the Halo series and bioshock among others. Not a huge fan of the COD series. Love racing games as well. Curently I'm obsessed with Ms. Splosion man, having made the top 10 on the leader boards for many of the levels. Which btw if anyone is curently playing Ms. Splosion man I need a partner to start tackling the multiplayer co-op levels so hit me up if you want to play. My gamer tag is Vx BASS xV.

I love Zero Punctuation!
I just re-installed the original Dirt and got my pedals and wheel set up. Next week my physics class starts the first unit on motion, and I intend to show them this clip.
Pikes Peak Hill Climb Peugeot 405 T16 - YouTube
My hope is that before the unit ends, I'll be able to create and show them a FRAPS video of me on the same course. And when we start on projectiles, I fully intend to bring a computer into class so we can do demos and/or a mini-lab with Portal.
BTW, here are some photos of my rig:

You guys have some serious rigs!
I just started playing Bulletstorm. Pretty good singleplayer game!
Also just bought a copy of Space Marine (it has yet to arrive) and I'm really excited about that one. Really liked the Demo.
