    Congrats Buddy!! That's AWESOME!

    Fits the wrist too!

    Good deal.
My Sea-Dweller was on my wrist during my dives on Malta this year. If I'm lucky I'll get more dives in October.
    Pressure testing is for wimps.

Both my watches are Citizen Eco-Drive(light powered) Skyhawks. The one I wear to work is all titanium and my good watch is the newer model with Atomic time keeping. They are pilot watches and are an absolute pleasure to use especially when transiting time zones.

Not sure if any of you gu6s have any experience with the Casio G-Shock range but i can thoroughly recommend the AWG 101 Tough Solar. Its not the most expensive watch (approx £110) but i cant speak highly enough of it. It is solar powered, receives signals 5 times per day to ensure it always has the right time. Its shock resistant and waterproof to somethimg like 200 meters.

Here is what it looks like:

I also used to collect storm watches... But the wife made me sell them as in her eyes they 'were collecting dust'

I had one of the early G-Shok watches, it had a steel case, and was digital.
A very solid watch that lasted me for years, until the screen died and was beyond repair.

My watchmaker charges 10 bux to pressure test a watch, takes two minutes,Your sea dweller has three gaskets in the stem mechanism plus a seal around the crown, should be good to go.
But one drop of Malteze sea water in the workings of that watch will cost you big time)

But what if a shark eats him. Will it be able to crush or damage the case? Would it survive the old Timex test? Where's John Cameron Swayze when we need him.

By the way Seiko is releasing a new model in the coming weeks which will automatically reset time according to GPS signals.

You don't have to seek through the piles. The Scuba tanks are usually not that hard to see. [End ]
