A friend of mine put it this way, having a Rolex is no big deal, not having one sucks!

    Nice Daytona!

Yes, the only people that notice the Sea-Dweller are my dive crew.
And most of them wear either a Sea-Dweller, Submariner, Suunto or Seiko dive watch themself, in addition to a dive computer or two.

Seiko was making their 6s37 chrono mvmt in 1998 and it was one of the best out there at the time. In those days Rolex was using a Zenith El Primero in their Daytona.

That is a fantastic movement; and if I recall correctly, went on to be a basis or the Grand Seiko movement, which are absolutely spectacular watches, and completely underrated - a GS is a true WIS watch.

Tag I think used that movement and "rebranded" it as their own....

I had the original Flightmaster Auto with that Mvmt. They actually cut some corners with the GS Chrono Mvmts. But either way they are still great watches.Name: seiko-a.jpg

The flightmaster is the 2nd from right on top.

Nice, and I notice a Grand Seiko in there, spectacular watch, finishing, movement, for all the work that goes into the GS, they are up there with Lange in their finishing.

What's the classic beside the GS on the right, looks like an older vintage date/day....one of my favourites, is that a vintage Seiko or the newer Presage?

A point of fact, I don't have any of these watches anymore. Sold them all.
So, do you have any watches left?

    Are you kidding? Har har

I have around 40 Vintage Pocket Watches and around 20 modern wrist watches and a few vintage types like the old accutrons and some old Seiko Quartz Models and even a Nixie Watch.

Those Grand Seiko’s look very classy.
Never even heard of the line before.
    Were some better than others?
Mechanical watches were/are still my favorites.
