The only thing I will say on the subject is if you look at timezone there are people who have watch collections well into 6 figures and they would never post anything relative to their collections. Collections like that attract professional types who can not be put off no matter what type of protection you may have.

There are types who steal from some of the best protected museums and dealers in the world.

I think the collection just shown is well into the six digits...he doesn't seem worried.

Museums and dealers tend to be in locations that people know, due to the fact that there is a museum or dealer there, all we know about donut from his profile is that he lives in Canada, and he calls himself donut, well based on his profile info anyway.
Can't see a gang of watch theives travelling the highways and byways of an entire country to steal some watches, that they would then have to resell without anyone knowing where they came from.

If you know your line of work and are good with a computer and are a good investigator you would be surprised how you can get bits and pieces and put them together a to give you the whole story.

I hope you both came out of it unharmed, while I would not want to be robbed and do not condone robbery, provided that no one is harmed, insurance will cover the physical loss hopefully. I realise that there is also emotional/ psychological damage that can be done and I don't take that lightly either.

Sorry to hear that, though at least being a hotel there is none of the emotional baggage of a home burgalary, and neither of you were hurt.
