1911's do have a classic look, however I have yet to find another platform that has such a good trigger...and that's a regular trigger in a 1911, much less a match set-up. There are many other really nice guns out there & I have owned my fair share of them...but they aren't a 1911. A 1911 is a lot like a straight razor, most folks will look at you funny and brush you off when you start talking about them. They just don't understand. Sure there are pistols that will hold more, be lighter, smaller, or more accurate (not many)...but I don't know of one that pulls the whole package together as well as the 100+ year old 1911 does. To each their own I know...but those who have owned one will most likely agree rather quickly, especially if they are a shooter.

Sacramento Sheriff Scott R. Jones is a wise man. There have been over 2k approved since 2011 and they have a 95% approval rating. A lot more work than you have to do in other states to get it but it weeds out the bad.

And for you Pixelfixed I am in Carmichael are of Sacramento and I will be carrying to exercise my 2A right and to protect my... well you know. Things have gone down hill in this town there was a man in Fair Oaks come home to his house being burglarized by two thugs about 3 weeks ago and defended himself by shooting them both. The store I work for has been burglarized numerous times in the last 3 years and is getting worse. I live close and make it to the location before the police do on occasions.

I hope to never use my weapon to injure anyone. Although if I do I will be glad I have it.
Down there between your legs, it is like an entertainment complex in the middle of the sewage system. Who designed that?

The point is to Kill, not to injure, if you injure you stand a good chance of getting killed in return ,good luck on your program, hope our paths never cross.

What was it Aliens vs Predators??? Girl says to other girl " Why do you carry that thing anyway ? " other girl says "the gun? It's like condoms. I would rather carry it around and not need it, than need it and not have one."
