Also just the design of that projectile, seems like it would be a "Feed" nightmare for any 2 piece throat & ramp auto.

My two primary carry guns:

Kimber Custom CDP II 5"


S&W M&P Pro Series 9mm 5"


For IWB on the Kimber, I use a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC. For OWB, I use an Andrews Custom Leathers Hybrid Saddle Style holster and dual mag holster.

On the M&P, for IWB, I use a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC. For OWB, I use a Comp-Tac belt holster and dual mag carrier.

Stationed in Florida ... I'm in the Military so to and from work.. no carry due to base restrictions.. But for the most part... I carry... Usually my Glock 23 which is 40 S&W... But when that's too bulky for my cloths.. I carry the wifes... Ruger 22... Not a lot, but better than nothing...

Many bullets pass through people with ease. Based on the videos, that round is not going near as deep into tissue as a traditional round. Trust me: I'm a retired Navy doc trained in battlefield trauma, and the RIP technology appears to be capable of producing horrendous wounds based on its performance in the videos.

If the ballistic gel used in those videos was the standard mix, then the initial wound cavity with those rounds is HUGE, and one would expect LOTS of tissue damage, and lots of bleeding...assuming that the heart is still beating. And any wound that includes shrapnel (which is what that round produces) is a surgeon's nightmare. Then there's the core slug that lies behind the flechettes; as you can see in the videos, it has plenty of energy left after it sheds the flechettes...enough that it traverses the entire length of the ballistic gel block. I'd be concerned about overpenetration if it doesn't hit anything solid enough to stop it.
