Do we need to find a climbing, sorry bouldering outfit for Carl? It should probably be padded, and fitted as a minimum, have places to store useful things like chalk and water, maybe some sort of weather protection if he. Boulders outdoors.

Thanked: 983It's all right. She's bloody mental anyway.
Depends how fancy looking the stick is. A plain ordinary stick, like what you might wonder around the dog park with, would go well with plain clothes.
Now I've got over my fits of laughter after reading the last six pages of take the p!ss out of Carl morning, I'm going to take the kids to school. Running late!

Hope you remembered to take the black rectangle off your daughter.
Is redcliffe that scary? You could probably make a couple of screw on handles and different sheaths, that way you could dress it up for the opera, or down for dog walking. You'd want to make sure you didn't accidentally throw it for the dog, especially if the sheath clip was not very solid.Last edited by edhewitt; 07-24-2013 at 12:27 AM.

Thanked: 1Hello gents,
I've read through some of this thread here and there and thought it would be a decent place to ask a question about some care for my boots. I have an oil treated pair of redwings (Product Detail) which I try to keep happy with Obenhauf's LP boot grease and frequent horse hair brushing. I had them cleaned and polished once and the cobbler was able to restore much of the color to the toe region. I tried to replicate his efforts with some lexol Ph neutral leather cleaner and some "burgundy" shoe polish (Red Wing Heritage - Accessories). I tried applying the polish in a discreet area so as to test it out, and it seemed to turn the leather black much like the black that is showing up on the toe region. Does anyone have a suggestion for getting the color back in the toes of my boots? I love these boots, but I'd like to keep em clean and good looking.
