Nice job, really looks functional and should serve you well. I wish I had the ability to follow through with a project like that I have a tendency to...SQUIRREL...

IT'S ALIVE
Attachment 210839
BTW ""Holy explicits""
400hz on a 50hz motor is hooking pretty quick with belt on it
Damn you factory settings
But a few adjustments and it is a lot more dosile than the initial test fire LOLLast edited by Substance; 09-03-2015 at 10:09 PM.

Well done Dion, that's a terrific piece of kit. I'm looking forward to seeing what you turn out - given your high level metal working skills I know it'll be great!

Terrific, so far!
I would consider some type of power cooling for the electronics. They do get very warm. Perhaps a couple PC fans and filters for them with vents for exhaust. Used should be very little cost.

thanks mate,
I have a Computer fan & looking at an Air Con filter to help get some air flow, just wanted to get is wired & started to see how it actually works & runs
also need to fit an external Kill switch, power on & Potentiometer for ease of use.
thinking of adding an extra pivot joint also as it has a bit of vibration when ramping up to speed, especially when it was heading north of 5000rpm when I stopped it first timeSaved,
to shave another day.
