My original avatar when I joined this forum was.

This I changed on 27 April to my current one because of....

On 15 April 1989, Liverpool were playing Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup Semi-Final at Sheffield Wednesday's ground, Hillsborough.
96 Liverpool fans were crushed to death in a pen at the Leppings Lane end of the ground.
South Yorkshire Police reports and The S*n newspaper reported that Liverpool fans were to blame, that they were drunk, that they pissed on fellow supporters etc etc and that there deaths were ruled as accidental. These lies were perpetuated for 27 years.

The avatar "Justice 96" represents the fight by the supporters of LFC and the families of those 96 fans who died to get the truth out and for justice for those deaths that took place.

On 26 April 2016, just over 27 years later, an inquest that had been sitting for just over 2 years, concluded that the 96 Liverpool Fans who lost their lives were unlawfully killed. The panel also ruled that fans played no part in causing this disaster.

We only hope that those identified as responsible for the deaths are now prosecuted.

However, after 27 years, Justice has now prevailed. Consequently, my avatar was no longer needed.

The new avatar is a representation of the number of times Liverpool Football Club have been crowned Champions of Europe.

Mine is just an angry badger from a Woody Woodpecker episode. Picked it just because it looks funny and more handsome than my actual face. The photo I have on my profile, taken by surprise by my ex-GF makes me resemble pretty much an hostile drug lord with that big mustache.

My avatar is a popular image from the internet. Usually paired with a picture of alot of items organized perfectly in some space or stack. Kind of like a "soothing to the OCD soul". I decided to put it up when I had a really over-the-top shave, since I was avatar-less at the time. Seems appropriate, but not sure of it's suitability for myself. Thinking about switching it up soon...

Mine is indicating I have a phone that takes self images, and that I like Irish influenced rock.

Could also be construed that I lack imagination based on the level of thought and subtleties some of you put into your avatars.
