    A P-3C Orion U.S. Navy patrol aircraft. Harpoons on the wing and MK 46 Torpedoes in the bomb bay. This aircraft with bomb bay doors open was the last thing a Russian looking through a periscope wanted to see. Among the many things I did in the Navy was a P-3 flight engineer with 3,000+ flight hours. I was qualified in all the models from the P-3A to the P-3C update II. Sure miss it.

    Karl, had lots of P3s flying out of Misawa Japan when I was with an Army Intel unit there 1986-89. Wish I had collected Japanese straights and hones when I was there. Brought home a few Tansus. Good thoughts of military life. Austin
