I brought this conversation up before work in our break room. Tony said that he noticed a big difference depending on the moon. He has mapped his beard and has noticed that it changes depending on the phase of the moon.

The only way that he has found to cure this is to use a Carbo Magnetic razor to overcome the moons attraction and align his hairs properly.

I take his view with a grain of salt.
