    Greg,
You've brought up some very good points. Yes, if this has been an isolated incident then talking to the guy might be as far as it needs to go. But I think I would still want to arrange for a new person to do the cleaning. One point that doesn't seem to have been brought up. Is this person really the only one with access to the property? Or does this fellow have kids of his own and had to bring his child with him for some reason? If he'd needed to bring his child for lack of childcare and the kid got into things without his parents knowledge.... Not terribly likely but not impossible. I'd still change the locks, though.

You need to train the guy to hone your straights.

Seriously, though, the guy didn't take anything, and the next guy might. He probably didn't realize that there was a risk of hurting anything-- if in fact it was him.

When you have people coming in to clean, you give up a bit of your privacy. If there's stuff you don't want the cleaning people messing with, lock it up. Seems like you've learned that lesson.

Having satisfied his curiosity about the razors, you're probably safe now. He'll get the message just by seeing the razors are now locked up. I'd just leave it alone.

If I were confident he was the cultprit I'd fire his ass forthwith. And the service he worked for. Nothing in my drawers (either type) is any of his business.

Unless he cleans your drawers for part of the job, either ones

True enough. I hadn't considered that he could have been responsible for putting the laundry away. Our housekeeper doesn't do any of our laundry. My wife is very picky about how our clothes are laundered, so she does everything that we don't send out. She's also very picky about how my underwear is folded and put away so she does that as well.

That being said, anything that I keep in my underwear drawer other than underwear should be left the f alone. *edit* We have two new kittens and I take my Tony Miller #1 latigo strop off the towel rack in my bathroom and put it on top of my underwear drawer to keep them from being tempted to climb it. Don't want any claw marks on it. I've put enough nicks on it on my own.

This is a very true point John.. Maybe you should talk with Tony about getting a Strop post made up for the kittens.
