Musician - shout out to Stagehand
I'm a classical musician (son of classical musicians and married to one) - we're big Local 1 fans from New York where we lived and played for many years before we ended up in Virginia. Even though we're in Virginia, we still hold our Local 802 cards!

Mainframe CICS assembler programmer.... Oops guess that sounds dated, so in the latest "vogue-speak", I'm a software engineer developing interactive applications for enterprise servers.

Can't call it a career because i do not know what will i do when i grow up.
By now i serve in the Navy, PO, engine technician. Been doing that for 10 years now. So what i usually do is count the days before getting back home.
Before that i spent 8 years in the Army.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Did a lot of menial stuff like security, stock boy, etc before spending about 8 years in the US Navy. Now I'm an independent consultant (computers and all things related) which is what I've wanted to do since I was a kid. Been my own boss for going on ten years now. I do pretty much anything computer or tech related. Admin networks, programming, db management, build/repair hardware, etc. Love it.

Thanked: 4Hi everyone,
Well, I'm new here, so I'll use this opportunity to introduce myself. My occupation is telling pilots where to go i.e. I'm an air traffic controller at St. Andrews Airport (CYAV). I've done this for fifteen years now, and I love my job, it's the best thing I could be doing.
I've done a few things over the years including chicken picking, retail, warehouse work, and railroader for the canadian passenger service. All I can say is: "kids, stay in school"
