    OR put in a bid 0f $429 at classicshaving.com, and I guarantee you'll win.

I don't think you've got the timing right, but even so, are you suggesting that an original art work by a master before he was famous is not valuable?

I'll take an eary Picasso any day.

Joe you are absolutely right. I knew that classic had it. It was an attempt at humor. Y'know, a guaranteed win on eBay in spite of all us nasty snipers.

    Chris...

You are alright in my book. I got a good chuckle out of your post. I like the way you addressed everything and I recognized a great sense of humor.

I think I'm gonna try that "ignore" thing to see if it works.

The only good thing to come out of this is that this post got a lot of attention and maybe Vlad will get some decent bids on this fine razor. I would like to see him do well with it.

If anyone of you guys here buys it and thinks it's a reject from a common blacksmith, I will personally buy it from you for what you paid AND give you a good straight razor for your trouble.

Well, my grandmother always said to vote with your feet. I beleive this to be a great opportunity. I've backed it up by bidding 4x more than I've spent on any other razor. Unfortunately, I would be greatly surprised if not outbid. I also hope for Vlad's sake that the snipers take the price to $400+.

I turn my back for a few days and miss all the fun.
Congrats to the winner and the seller. I hope you are both very happy.
Personally, although I am CERTAIN this razor shaves like a demon and is worth every penny, I never warmed to the shape. Can't say why. then again, I don't dig the framebacks too much either.

Yes, the price was good for both myself and the buyer. I only lost about $120 US from what it cost me to get it into my hands. Since the buyer is in Canada he saved $75 CDN on sales taxes over and above what it would cost him to buy a new one and get it shipped.

As soon as I can afford it I will be replacing it with one of its 450 twins. I find it a great shaver and the shape, although unusual, is very ergonomic and beautiful.

For now it will be missed.
