more realistically, since a new one is 430 dollars, you sold it for only about 65 off of the new price.

Joe, the new price does not include shipping and $75 sales taxes that I paid on top of the sale price. So the total cost to get it into my hands was about $120 less than I got for it on e-bay. But I am not complaining, I could have lost a lot more.

Well, I read today that the Canadian dollar is up to $0.90 US, so that may help a little bit.

Ed, since he sold in US$, when the Canadian currency goes up, he's actually getting less in Canadian money.

Yes, you're right. I was thinking more about when he bought another one to replace it and that it might offset some of his loss (assuming the Canadian dollar continues to improve against the US dollar).
