It was Ode de Lilac to be exact.
I was going to mention the eastern promises one, that first scene was just plain messy, and it does freak you out. the straight has to be one of the scariest weapons to face just because you know what it is capable of.

Rio Bravo
I watched the old western Rio Bravo today, and saw a good shaving scene, Angie Dickinsons' character shaved Dean Martins' character Dude with a straight, you could hear the razor scrape and Ange bless her heart looks like she did in fact know how to use said razor!!
Cheers from down under

If you guys didn't know, Tim Burton is directing a movie version of the musical: "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" it's starring Johnny Depp and looks like it's going to be pretty good! Sorry if this is a double post, I didn't read all of the posts.

I cant believe no one mentioned "Outlaw Josey Whales"
"Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is."

I've just got back from watching 'Eastern Promises' at the cinema. There's a scene right at the beginning with a guy in a barbers chair chatting away as the barber cuts his hair, and a young turkish mob kid runs in and slits (well - saws) his throat with a yellow handled cut throat razor.
Call me sad but I was trying to identify the razor rather than follow the plot line, looked like a 5/8 roundpoint with some etching on the blade and yellow scales. I didn't catch who it was made by, that'll have to wait for the DVD release.
Great film btw.
