Thread: General Annoyance with people

I just had to post this...

This AM I went to work for the first time with out crutches. I have a air cast boot on to hold my ankle steady. Well I am walking towards the corner when someone walking at a 90 degree angle to me kicked my ankle with the boot and just continued on like nothing had happened. Thankfully I had the boot on but it still hurt. I turned around but couldn't see who did it. People are real s#&m bags. Where did manners go.

I don't think they ever arrived in New York. USPS will deliver them any day now

Am I wrong to be pissed??? Of course I yelled out a place where they could put their foot so I guess I don't have manners either..

PS If I am waiting for USPS to deliver them I will be dead first..

I'd have handled it with a genuine-sounding "excuse me" and a sarcastic look on my face. But New York is hitorically famous for its uhmmmmm directness

No, you're right to be upset. At the very least, common courtesy requires that someone appear contrite after bumping into someone else. They should have apologized and asked if you were okay.

That is true.. We do have a habit of speaking our minds...

My take on it is that idiots VASTLY outnumber us. If I got upset and snapped at every idiot I come across I'd have a series of bleeding ulcers by now.

Ohhhh truer words were never spoken. The idiots abound.. When I first got married I told my wife that 85% of the people were idiots. She told me I was a narrow minded republican (She is a Democrat) Well 26 years later she said the number was 90%

Sorry Rich, I couldn't resist. This was only meant as a joke since I realized a long time ago that the political system doesn't matter. What does matter is the system of inherent moral values in the society.
