    Good Evening, Gentlemen

I promise I haven't disappeared. We're trying to wrap up label design, and here in the next day or two we begin on the website. The goal is the end of this month. I'm not so sure about all of that based on the past few months, but that's what we're aiming for. I'm finally getting caught up from our trip to Sturgis, SD.

This week I'm making shaving soap that's headed out to "The Greenbrier" on Sept 7th I still have to pinch myself over that one! lol. I also noticed the other day that I'm almost out of "Bath soap".....so that's on the table as well because it has a long cure time of 4-6 weeks. Over the coming weekend I'll be making Aftershave Splash.

Then fingers crossed, and Katy bar the door.....we should have everything up on the website. That's the plan, but....as we all know plans are subject to change So I'll keep you informed.

PS. I do see that folks are posting here and there but I'm not getting any notices like I did in the past, so I apologize for being late to reply

Hey that's great! I'll stay tuned. Will be wanting to replenish my sad collection of shave products so I've been watching different threads to get some options.

My wife asked me about shave cream the other day and I had to hide my Castle Forbes!
I said "well sweetie I heard they used olive oil in Ancient Rome..."

If you have any for her?.. I don't know if the formulation is different..?

MikeT, you're so funny! I have a feeling that you're quite the character at home!

I don't have any shaving cream or shaving soap for women specifically....yet. I will have some gift items for the ladies as we approach the holidays. More like pilot projects, if they go over well enough I'll add them to my line of product, but for now I have to stay focused! focus, focus grasshopper

Soooo many things happening behind the scenes. I promise I'm still here. Our product labels are finished, but I have discovered that upon printing them, we need to make a few changes to the Aftershave labels, cuz ....unless you have eyes of a 12 year old, you can't read the dang label. Not even with my readers on! The print is just too small. I don't know about y'all but I hate it when I pick something up at the store and the print is so small you can't read it. I always put it back on the shelf...won't buy it.

I see on my last post I was to be making my Aftershave Splash.....ha! plans are indeed, always subject to change. Turns out I'm making a small test batch this weekend, maybe even Monday or Tuesday of the coming week. Because I'm also supposed to be working on the layout of the website this weekend. We've run into a glitch or two on the design end, and we've had to renegotiate. I'm learning a lot, and that's all that matters right now.

I NEED THREE TESTERS for the Aftershave SPLASH. I need you to be a "splash" kinda guy. This is an important fact finding mission on a timeline to boot. I have approx 20 days to pull a rabbit outta my hat.

Because....uhmm....coughs....this past Thursday "The Greenbrier" said, we would also like to order your "Aftershave Splash".....me? Why certainly! Absolutely....how many do you need? LOL....jiminy cricket batman...walking down the hall talking to myself, laws girl...ya ain't even got any aftershave made !!!!! can't even read the label ...omg

I am comfortable with the overall formula ingredients, I feel solid in the choices I made. With the exception of the ratio of Alcohol and Menthol. On paper the figures work, but I learned long ago, that has nothing to do with reality

If you're interested, I could really use your help. I'll send you approx 1 oz. I will request that you pay 1st class shipping approx $3.25 stateside.

FIRST THREE ONLY ....please, and thank you very much

I don't think I'm the best tester, as there are other guys here with much more experience than I have.
If for what ever reason you are unable to find two more in the timeframe, then I will gladly help.
Good luck! I'm sure that you are very excited, very cool things going on from what youve said.

Thank you, MikeT. I appreciate your thoughtfulness on the end result of the testing.

I'll feel better after I send out samples and at least have an idea of the BURN.....and the coooooling effects of the menthol. I have 3 men from FB, still need 2 more here. I thought 6 would give a good average across the board.

It's true that TGQ has an opportunity right now with the Greenbrier that I swear, continues to leave me shaking my head. Ya know, like what were the chances that the guy who picked up the phone was a wet-shaver?! AND they're in a new campaign under the current owner to promote WV craftsmen.

A moment in time, where all things came together . Chance favors the prepared mind ! I'm not quite prepared, lol....but hey! I'm gonna give it one helluva shot

I'm going to try to post under the other sub-heading for TGQ about the Aftershave, let's see what happens

Just running in real quick to say, I'm making Aftershave I think I can get everything done and shipped out today. DO NOT worry if you've not received a request for the shipping fund. First things first for me....I know, a little backwards perhaps....request money first, then ship

Right now, my focus is on formulating, boxing and shipping out, then invoicing

    Good Evening, Gentlemen

I had a few things happen during formulation that I wasn't expecting, so it took a little longer than I thought while I tried to problem solve. All ended with some interesting results. Aftershave on the left has a Ph around 2ish. Aftershave on the right has a Ph around 5.5
