What kind of timeline am I looking at here? Once and done? Or can I use them a couple of times. There’s certainly enough here for it. Let me know.
I suppose a fella determines pretty quick whether or not he likes something, so I guess just a couple of uses should tell the tale. I don't feel like these are extraordinary in any way......but I WANT THEM TO BE EXTRAORDINARY....lol. What do they need to become the best?

One more thought, before I head off to the land of Nod. When testing products, please know.......that you can say "anything"....and I mean "anything" about them. If it sucks, just say so, but be specific, you have to tell me "Why" it's not working for you. You don't like it because: I can't feel any burn, or it has so much menthol my eyeballs melted it's sticky, I don't like shaking the bottle, ya know....that kind of stuff.

I can promise you, I've always learned more from what I did wrong, than what I did right

    Happy Saturday Morning

Another cool and rainy day here in the mountains of West Virginia. I'm on my last cup of coffee, and it seemed like a good time to catch up before heading down to the shop.

I know it's quiet around here, or it seems that way.......but it's busy as ever behind the scenes. We've been adding a room to the house......it'll be the new "Lab"......omg, jumping up and down. A dedicated area just for formulating, while the original space will expand and be used for curing, stock, and shipping.

And it's all done the old fashioned way...... as cash money will allow, so yes.....it's a little slow, and frustrating at times, but no debt The workers are my boyfriend, some of his friends, and even little brother (fifties lol) chipped in before he left for Australia.Name: 20181029_162022.jpg

We got the roof on the other day, just in time for this rainy spell.

    Good morning Gentlemen,

I thought it best to run in and say hello with an update on our progress for the production room. Of course, I have a shop in my basement where I make product, and store everything, and ship, and my office. I think of it as "organized chaos". In order to grow though, it was time to be serious and I'm forever grateful to my boyfriend who is building this room for me. Which also means, I gotta make some serious soap when we get finished. We were going to go on a cruise......my first ever, and his first too. But he said to me, you know......I can take that money and build you a room to give you more space, and it will help you to be more organized .....more efficient. Me ? I'm like, oh I don't know.....that's a lot of money, and what about the cruise ?

Alan said, "Pff....no worries, after I get finished you can make LOTS of soap, and you can pay for the cruise next year" .....me? uhhm yea, YES....I can do that. (worried....biting nails) lol. So you can see gentlemen, that the bets are on for the year!

I run TGQ on cash only, no credit. I lost all that in my divorce. This oftentimes has a lot to do with our stops and starts. It also means that it's been necessary to "Treasure Hunt" to help with outfitting the shop, and Alan came home with a quite a find the other day. A doctors office that has been empty for 7 or 8 years is being gutted. When Alan passed by and saw the workers he stopped and asked if we could have the cabinets, and they said we could have whatever we wanted

On Monday morning we pick up the rest.....and the overhead lights too !!!!

Colleen-I'm happy to hear about your exciting progress. As soon as I've recovered from Christmas spending, I plan to get a tub of your Orange/Patchouli soap. As you know, I've developed a liking for your products. Best wishes in the New Year. Aaron

    Hey Gasman

Yes, we're taking everything we can get, cuz as you suggest whatever isn't put into the soap room, will end up in the garage or the basement. It's like Christmas all over again

ScoutHikerDad - Whenever you're ready, I'll be here I thank you for the compliment too. The "Orange Patchouli" is an excellent choice !! After your recovery when you place an order I'll include a nice size sample of OP Bath soap for you too.

I thought it was time for another update on the progress of the Soap Studio, I'm so excited and Alan has done such an incredible job. It's way nicer than anything I ever expected, but Alan keeps reminding me about paying for that cruise next winter, saying "well you're gonna be in here for HOURS everyday, and I expect to see bubbles flying out of here, so it may as well be nice" He's the Best!

We're getting close to finished, this coming week I'll be moving everything into the shop. Then I'm preparing for another business pitch that will take place on Feb. 12th. It's still looking like March before things begin to pick up speed with testing some new products that will be coming out. It's gonna be a fun and exciting year ahead.

Thank you for your continued interest!
