Thanked: 315Yeah, he liked it much better than the generic stuff he was using. The soap he already had broke down in no time, so he liked how well the GQ lathered.

That's good, I'm happy to hear it! Of course I haven't forgotten that TGQ shaving soap "Does Not" lather in hard water......and I have a hard water formula that works beautifully for those who live in areas with high mineral content, but we'll have to wait a bit before I can get that on board. I never dreamed in a million years that I would pick up that account at "The Greenbrier".....and while ever so thankful, it's definitely pushed several projects backward.
All Aftershaves were in the mail on Friday. For those here, I suspect your goods will show up tomorrow or Tuesday. You each have 3 AS. I didn't label them, for time's sake. But the bottles themselves help with "what's what".
Two bottles same height = Both have Alcohol
Silver cap = Menthol
White cap = no menthol
small bottle = No alcohol, no menthol.....just good for your skin.

Hi Joshua,
Actually .....Uhhm...coughs, I have several lol. I have my beloved "Workhorse", and I say beloved cuz we've been together for so long it seems like it's a real live pet I have a T-Zone Aftershave......and another for oily/sensitive skin. I have a Rose Milk that is divine. I don't know how many men are interested in such these days, but 13 years ago, there were several.
Aftershaves have puzzled me like no other ( except for shaving cream, and yes I used to make some of the finest ) When I came on board back in 2005, what everyone was calling an "Aftershave" was to me; a weak cologne. I was dumbfounded. Aftershave to me.....should be something that does more than have a bit of alcohol, water, and scent = cologne....or what I knew as a child as "Sweet Water"
I started with the Workhorse back in 2006, as my idea of what I thought an aftershave should be, lol. Yes, a gal who's never shaved her face....smh. I'm stubborn. However! I do feel like I was on to something as most aftershaves these days have indeed turned more towards the healing aspect, along with good for your skin properties to boot.
I understand that Alcohol serves a purpose; antibacterial, astringent etc., in Aftershaves, but I have a feeling that my current AS will need a little tweaking. So we'll see.
As far as scent goes; I never send out anything test ....with scent. Alllll unscented I know...... but testers have to pay attention to the feel, to the process of it, and sometimes scent interferes with perception.

This ^^^ I think is a great plus. It does make "testers" give a real report on what it FEELS like. Keeps the basics alive, and that is the main thing when testing. Scent is nice, but its shouldn't be first in an aftershave test. It's just Sharpening, right?
