Thread: 5th Annual Mile High Madness- Denver Colorado

I had such and awesome time! I can't believe how fast time has past since the get-together. I also can't believe I haven't posted since the event!

As many have already said, Glenn is awesome! When he says he learns at each of these events, he's not kidding. He continues to learn how to teach us newbies and how we relate to his instructions and demonstrations.

I was floored to be the first up to bat after his instructional portion. He made me break out the tools (stones, etc.) I brought so I can build my skills using what I already owned. Talk about nervous! Having 12 guys watching as I tried to mimic techniques I watched Glenn apply so effortlessly was a moment I'd like to forget! Thanks for putting me on the spot buddy!

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to break out my stones since the meeting. Huge mistake! I hope to get to them this weekend and I hope I haven't forgot all I learned that day.

I was just as nervous as well. Hey, if you forget anything, Ill help out and be yer support group.

You guys are fortunate that you could meet back up and practice and bounce ideas off each other if you want, I had to drive back to Clovis, New Mexico where I might be the only person with a set of hones!

Hey, anyone from the Denver meet interested in going to the Kansas City meet Oct. 25/26. I'll be driving.

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait another year to met the local shave community. A cold has turned to bronchitis and I ain't much fun to be around. All have a great time. Hopefully I'll make the 6th annual.
