    Outstandingly nice catch. You may be tempted to resell for some big bucks but keep in mind those FBUs are superb shavers and you don't often find them with such a nice patina.

    Well of course I do. But this one is off the table. Now that I have 3 im thinking if getting 4 more for a seven day set.

    Ya man. Beautiful stuff, and very soft too. Much like pine. If you use it for scales you'll have to line it with something to give it strength.

    BTW, nice score on the two blades.

    Seems to have died off, though.

    My experience is that these things work best when someone just says "It's going to be this time/date/location, if you can't make it, we hope to see you at the next one." But that does require someone who's able and willing to host.

    I'd hold off a bit until the weather turns better. Winter travel for out of town folk can be dicey.
