OK OK OK Kevin and Chris. Both of you know that I consider both of you to be 2 of my dearest friends. I truly know that if I were to call you guys and ask for your help you would be here as soon as possible. But to drive for 12 hours in possibly some crappy weather?? For just a small get together? In a cold and possibly snowy state. For just one day?? I wouldn't even consider asking you to come. But with that you both know that you are always welcome here! You don't even have to call. Excommunicated?? Why that is just crazy talk!!

I work a weekend shift, days on Saturday but nite shift on Sunday, I could probably do that, but please don't change everything on my account, unless you have the still up and running!

Hi guys, I'm new and have yet to get out and meet any of you. That said if I'm able to make it there I'm sure I could learn a lot from all of you.

Thanks for the kind words Ray, you're awesome too. We definitely had a great time and I for one learned a lot and got lots of hands on experience. I learned things that I could never have learned on my own. If we were closer we would both be there. As for crazy, hey, we're straight razor shavers. You know we have to be crazy!!!

BearRae,

If you can make it, GO!! You will learn more in one day than you will on your own in 2 years. There will be lots of knowledge and experience there and if you are just starting out with straight razors, you will learn what to do and avoid many bad habits before they start. Well worth the time and drive.

It would be a bit of a drive but I would love to attend. I kinda doubt I will make it, though.

Saturdays would be my best day but Sundays are doable too, if the weather cooperates.
