I think that we have and will find the same amount and quality as we have, The thing is us old Phartz are kicking the bucket and more of our stashes come to the market daily.

Thanked: 3795That looks nice!
You probably already know this, but you will want to rig up a bright light to shine onto the TOP of the stage rather than making use of the mirror under the stage.

Thanked: 2First off I would like to thank Randy for presenting the opportunity to host this meeting, without his leadership and seeing the potential for the space, this would have never happened.
Secondly I was honored to be able to provide the space and to bring together the leading minds of the straight razor craft revival and kick off what may become a regular opportunity to share such a wealth of knowledge. It was amazing to see how open and giving the people of this community are. The collaboration of high tech and sensory tech to show new and vet alike, new and classic solid practices was stellar.
I began the trip down the rabbit hole of SR 8 months ago, by myself, like many of you, and found a deep well of knowledge available here on SRP. But it took until I reached out to the people closest to me, and imagine my luck that it was Randy and Rod, to really grasp the basic concepts of all the practices it takes to start a path for mastering this art. It's such a hands on experience that it truly takes face to face, steel to stone, grit to surface exposure to pass the knowledge on.
I literally just read this thread start to finish for the first time tonight, for any number of excuses, but it was great to see the communications in a AAR kind of setting. I got the link to post my pix, but Randy beat me to it I see.
Thanks for making this culture possible, let's do this again some time. Each moment is practice for the next, I like to practice making whiskey and honing razors.
