    Hello all,
I just got home and will probably be able to post photos tomorrow. I didn't have access to a computer as I though I did.
A great bunch of very knowledgeable people showed up and a good time was enjoyed by all.
Thanks for watching, Rolodave will be posting after he has recovered from a week of hard effort toward making the get-together a success.
    Be well and prosper!

I've been trying to upload a few photos of the meet for quite some time now from my hotel room with my phone and am having no success.

First and foremost I would like to give heartfelt thanks to Dave and Bonnie for being such a gracious and generous host and hostess.

I'd also like to thank all that attended for making this a DFM.
(New acronym - Damn Fine Meetup.)

What a great group of fine, knowledgeable new friends.

Thanks Dave and Bonnie for hosting the crew.

Made it home after a slight detour. I missed an exit and decided to take another route. Neither Geezer or I have been that way for a few years so it was a good excuse for some scenery and although it was a little slower MPH for a section of the trip I don't think it was much if any further.

Geezer forgot a bag in my truck and I forgot a jacket in Racine. I will PM and or call you guys later but at the moment I am ready to relax for a bit. We will straighten it all out and after I relax I will post a little more.

    Tim

Ron and me are now home safe and sound. We encountered some light rain during the last part of our trip home but no ice or snow.

I want to say a big THANK YOU ! to Dave and Bonnie for hosting this razor meet. You two are exceptional people that I am glad I have met.

Once again I had the pleasure of meeting some really good people and a few new guys. I am grateful that all of the guys in this hobby/pastime that I have met are all really good, decent people.

To all of you who tolerated and helped me while I was stumbling around with my bad leg and the walker I want to extend a heartfelt Thank You ! Your support was very much appreciated.

I will be very pleased if Dave does this again next spring. I will definitely make time in my schedule to attend any razor meet that he decides to put together.

For those of you who missed this razor meet you really did miss out on a lot. There were a bunch of very experienced razor people who attended this and could have helped out with any questions you wanted to ask. I strongly suggest you set up your schedule to attend the next one.

I would like to thank the most honorable and biggest hearted host and hostess Dave and Bonnie. They always go way above and beyond and treat us all like their family. The gear the Geezer brought was simply amazing. I have a small, I believe it’s an Escher on a piece of wood. Looking forward to learning and experiencing the edges it can produce. Such generosity and a great way to support a cause. I will donate to Movember once I see the link. My Loupe I ordered on Saturday is supposed to be delivered today, thanks Peter for letting me try and see your loupe. Not sure when the cool microscope comes, but looking forward to utilizing the knowledge that it can unleash and provide. The razors you brought were jaw dropping and beautiful.

I had such a great time again with you all and look forward to the next meetup. Ron thank you for bringing the scope and setup. It’s always great to see results on the monitor. Randy let me borrow a stone and rubbing stone to learn. Such awesome brothers. Thanks so much. Victor, purely impressed by your razor work, scales, and music you provided. Wish you ere closer or I lived near you to spend more time together. Tim, thanks for sharing your work, friendship, knowledge, and many laughs. Obie, it was great to see you again and see the nice razors you brought along. Wish I had funds to purchase one, but maybe next time.

Bless you all, have a great holiday season, and can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Hello All! Well, loses are a part of life..as the village idiot, I misplaced my camera and only have a few photos from the Friday eve, "Good guys club." They were saved for me by Dave. I totally echo the comments from the other attendees, I always learn a lot more than I can ever respond to the teachers individually.
Here are the Guys at that Friday Eve:

My apologies to all the guys that got photographed Saturday and Sunday!
Again, I wish to express my appreciation to all the attendees; there were many conversations about MANY subjects and I didn't see any testiness during any of them. What a great bunch of guys!
May all meet-ups go as well as this one has!
    Sincerely
