Randy, are we going to be ordering any steel?

I am not sure which would work best. I know it should be 1/8" x 1". O1, 1095, or w1/2 (harder to get in flat stock) would be fine choices, but I open to learning other steels as well.

Anyone who is trying to call the Twilite Motel and make a reservation ......
They are a family operated business so they are not always able to answer the phone. But, don't worry about it they do not take reservations because they have more than adequate room. If the Twilite location fills up ( which I have never seen) they have another motel located a few blocks away. I think it is call the "Ranch" or something like that.
Just call a day or 2 before you get there and they will have a room ready for you.

My recollection of trying to reserve a room at the Twilite was that if you did get ahold of someone they would listen to you, but after getting off the phone leave you with the distinct feeling that they never wrote anything down. I think that they just figure that they have never been fully booked, so why go to the trouble and bookwork of taking reservations.

I could be totally wrong about this, but that was the vibe that I got.
