    These are the bone scales that shaun made into a pickbone pattern. Then Damon cut them to shape from the bone blank, dyed them and with the help of both sharpton and rolodave mounted a blade and pinned them.
    This pic is before the pinning was completed.

    Sharpton gave us an excellent demo of his style of pinning at the end.

    It was definitely a communal effort and the results are definitively an example of the the sharing, teaching , and skills of the group!

    This reminded me of the old way of doing things.

    One person forges, another grinds, someone is a good scale maker, another pins it and another 1 makes the box. etc. etc.

    Except it went around the world and not between a few blocks of Sheffield.
