I am so grateful for this little gathering. If not for Saturday, I'd give up on straight shaving immediately and eBay my razors by the weekend. I am having a horrible time straight shaving. I've tried using three different straight razors, two of which are fresh back from being honed, so I know the problem isn't in the blade. I just scape over the hairs, pulling and leaving them mostly uncut. Finally, I just give up and grab an old faithful Gillette and a DE blade. But I really, really want to shave with a straight razor! Argh!

(Okay. I'm done venting for the morning.)

well things are coming together glen oldblades, sicboater, hoglahoo, simon, doc, bandit, are here so far lynn and byron are still on the road but on the way, going to get started at 6pm hope to see some more of you here!!!!
